Certified Hereford Beef® LLC licenses beef packers to produce our branded beef products. Those packers (listed below) have unique, competitive buying programs that add value to Hereford and Hereford/English crossbred fed-cattle.

National Beef Packing Co., LLC is the only rancher-owned, fully-integrated beef processor in the United States. National Beef is the fourth largest packer and has been with the Certified Hereford Beef program since July 2003.
They are continually implementing programs, technologies and procedures to ensure safe, consistent beef processing. Their commitment is evident with the introduction of ActivinTM and their comprehensive BioLogic® Food Safety System; both of which sets new standards for testing, tracking and treating in processing facilities. Their production practices have taken them well beyond the fundamental principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Management Practices) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
National Beef has been processing CHB cattle since the summer of 2003. National Beef is the largest harvester of CHB cattle and is always looking for quality fed steers and heifers on a weekly basis. Feeders with Hereford or Hereford baldies (Angus, Red Angus) should call National Beef’s cattle procurement line at the number listed above. Currently National buys CHB influenced cattle at the cash market.
